Just outside the town, maybe 1 kilometre away, some distance away from the train station, on the side of the road I was driving on, about 300 meters away from me, I noticed Germans in uniforms leading a group of 30 Jews: elderly, young and children, of both sexes; a wagon carrying dead was following one of the groups. [...] The ditches had been dug on the verge of the young forest situated near the field of a villager (in whose house I was doing the observations). […] People had to undress, leaving only underwear; next, a group of 6-8 people was executed in front of the others.
