Full Testimony | In July 1941 SS men came to the town for the first time. The Belarusians were driving around town with the SS men and pointing out the flats of affluent Jews. They gathered 78 Jews and executed them in a forest in Akińczyce. In 1944, after the liberation of Stowbtsy, we unearthed that grave. We recognized those people from their clothes. One woman recognized a comb in her husband's pocket. |
