I also know that on the order of Gabler an execution of 380 Jews took place in Sędziszów. At the same time when men were imprisoned in Dębica, the rest of the Jews, including my mother, my sister, my sister-in-law and my granddaughter, were transported to the ghetto in Sędziszów. On the next day after being brought to the ghetto, old men and women were taken to the Jewish cemetery and ordered to dig graves for themselves and wait for the execution. They waited all night. Armed Germans, including Gabler, came in the morning and shot all of them except for my mother. |
