Full Testimony | On 21 October 1942, the Germans conducted a final extermination of Jews in Szczebrzeszyn. All the local Jews were herded to the square in front of the City Hall (...) and next to the Jewish cemetery, meanwhile they were being shot on the streets. At the Jewish cemetery took place a mass execution of about 500 people, children, women and men. (...) After the first time, the Germans unearthed the mass graves and began transporting the decomposed bodies in trucks toward Zamość. |
