In November 1941 the so-called "two little ghettos" were liquidated in Tomaszów Mazowiecki." [...] Some of their residents were moved to Koluszki. A few brave ones came back to the ghetto in Tomaszów; some of them were arrested by Germans. In the spring of 1942 they were taken to the forest, near the barracks in Tomaszów, and executed. 33-35 people were supposed to be there. During the exhumation of those killed by Jewish Committee in Tomaszów Mazowiecki on 29 October 1947, only bodies of 25 victims were found in both graves. |
