Full Testimony	The first action in Ternopil, the so-called "action of the old" took place in March 1942. 700 Jews were killed during this action. The Jewish police, ordered by the German authorities, took children from the orphanage, Jews from the old people's home and the poor to the synagogue. The Germans and the Ukrainian police transported them from there to the place of execution.
