Full Testimony | 1 July 1941, Germans took over Stryj. 10 Jews were killed on that day. Germans were led by an Ukrainian who had the victims' names and addresses written down. At 9 a.m. 8 boys were arrested and sent to Grabowiec to dig out a ditch; at 11 a. m. the execution was over. The villagers, on whose grounds the graves had been dug, gave the bodies back to the families for money, which was supposed to compensate for the damaged fields. |
