[1942] On Tuesday, when I was on my way to work, one of the Judenrat members joined me and asked if I could help clearing out the bodies in the cemetery. I went there and saw a horrible scene. 300 bodies on the ground. They were tied one to another with a wire twirled around their hands. People from Judenrat told me those people were Jews found by Germans in their hidings. They were taken to the municipality office building, tied there and herded to the cemetery for execution.
