Full Testimony	[April 1943] The Gestapo started the fourth "action", during which 4,000 people were murdered near the Jewish cemetery. [...] The rest realised then that the camp was their only way to survive and started to sign up in great numbers. However, after a few days, the Gestapo suddenly surrounded the camp, took around 1,800 newly signed-up people, and executed them on the so-called 'Baszta'" [...] A few days later, the camp itself was liquidated: all prisoners were herded to "Baszta" and murdered there.
