After 8 days, 13 Jews from the Ukrainians' list, who felt certain resentment towards them, were summoned: Mojsze Bauer, Mojsze Strassberg, Izak Szwarc, Fischel Adler, Munie Seiler, Zak Kreibik, Ing. Kirszenbaum, Majer Ratz, Majer Gerstenfeld, Schlaf. Mojżesz Pomeranc, Sauerbrunn and others. They were allegedly called to do some work, but instead they were put onto the cars and taken to the woods, to so-called Kurzawce, where they were tortured and later executed. Jews did not know what happened to those 13 men. Their relatives were looking for them, until finally, 5 weeks later, they found them: 13 corpses underneath a pile of sand. Their legs were tightened with a wire, to prevent them from defending themselves. |
