Full Testimony | On 21st August [1941] a formal pogrom took place during which 840 men and 24 women were killed. Ukrainian militia came from the nearby villages and caught all the Jews walking down the streets, others were dragged out of their homes, and given shovels as they were supposed to go to work. After gathering all the victims, the ones who were able to confirm working for some important facilities were let go, the rest was taken to the Jewish cemetery and killed. |
