I was an eye-witness of how they 'dealt' with the orphanage on Grodzka Street in the Jewish district. There were 300 children. [...] The children were thrown onto trucks and, among beating and tortures, taken to the square near Majdan Tatarski. A pit had already been prepared there. [...] Older children were shot and thrown into the pit, younger ones were hit in the head with a club and thrown into the grave as well. Later on, the staff from the orphanage were brought there and ordered to get into the pit where they were shot. |
