Full Testimony | The ghetto in Łomża existed till 1 September 1942. For a year and a half, he Jewish community suffered pains and exhaustion of persecution at the hands of inhumane barbarians. Thousands of young and old, healthy and weak, men and women were transported to Giełczyn, where they stayed for ever in the trenches dug by the Soviets in 1940 for defence purposes. |
