Full Testimony | After 25 June 1941, people were snitching on the Jews, who were active supporters of Soviet power to the German Gendarmerie. The Gendarmerie herded them all into a Catholic cemetery and beat them there in an inhumane way for so long that the victims, still conscious, were begging for death. Then, they ordered Poles to dig graves and they were throwing the victims in and burying them. Within a few weeks, several dozens of Jews accused of supporting communism died this way. |
