Almost all the Jews from Biała were killed, only one survived, Morgenthal aged 75, who, seriously injured, came to Czortków and described what has happened in his village. On Sunday evening, the Germans and the Ukrainians took all 70 Jews to the commune head's barn and killed them there with knives and axes. Morgenthal lived outside of the village and his family was attacked at home. |
