Groups of 50-60 people were slowly approaching the gate of the cemetery. Sitting in our attic and looking through a window through binoculars [...] I saw those people with skulls on their caps - SS men, and those with tridents - Ukrainian policemen, who were beating people with rifle butts. [...] Then they herded naked people toward a pit, which was probably 15 m long. The other one was a bit longer - it was around 20 m long. The execution began. [...] it all happened again on the next day. Naked people were running towards the pit. Shots were being fired. [...] The third day of the execution began in the morning and at noon there was only silence. |
