| העדות המלאה | There was a clearing in the forest, which had been specially prepared for deadly schemes and had a square pit dug out. People rushed by the Nazi executioners and their Ukrainian SS servants had to arrange wood, which had been prepared the day before, in the pit. Then, they were forced to strip naked and lie face down in a neat row. Lying in that position, they were all executed by the brutal Nazi perpetrators with machine and automatic guns. Successively, new groups of 50 people were brought and the process was repeated. They had to put wood on their half-alive brothers, strip naked, lie in the pit and share the fate of their predecessors. This heinous and barbarous procedure of killing lasted till all the 700 people selected for this action and the handful of young people and children were dead. Once the execution was over, flammable materials was spilt all over the mass grave and it was set on fire, to cover up the traces of this crime. |
