| העדות המלאה | [1942] In the meantime, a Jews' execution started. Some of them were taken to different districts of the city, to so-called "Łyczakowskie Piaski". The car was escorted by 2 Gestapo drivers and 4 Ukrainians one for each corner of the lorry. Jews were laying on the floor face-down, and every time someone tried to lift their head, they would get hit with a rifle. Once they arrived, the Jews had to dig their own graves. Men, women and children were told to get strip naked and jump over the bars made of strung high barbed wire. If somebody failed, which usually happened, they were shot with a machine gun. The rest had to bury the bodies. |
