The witness testifies that the Oleksin village leader [...] and his helpers [...] on the night between 14 and 15 December 1942, organized a "lapanka" (round-up), (no Germans were involved) to catch the Jews who managed to escape the action organized by Germans on 2 November 1942. They caught 16 Jews [here 15 names are listed]. During the liquidation of the ghetto in Brańsk they managed to flee. [...] Germans ordered Jewish men to dig their own grave by the first road which led from Oleksin to Klichy. 11 of the Jews mentioned earlier were killed |
