| העדות המלאה | The Germans had been taking some measurements before in Tyniec, and then sent members of Baudienst (labour battalion) to dig three pits. It was under the rocks in Tyniec, on the way to Skawina. All 120 families were herded there. [...] There, on a meadow, people were sorted - the Germans loaded women, children and old and sick people onto trucks and transported them under the rock, where pits had already been dug and executed all of them there. Young and healthy were ordered to drive towards Skawina. However, having executed the first group of people, Gestapo policemen caught up with those who were allowed to go, brought them to the pits and executed them as well. Only a few Jews managed to escape on two carts. |
